This screen works just as good as the original and the cost of having someone else replace it was going to push my decision towards getting a brand new game. I purchased this replacement screen for my son's PSP after watching a very detailed instuction video on Youtube. If you have any idea about which end of the screwdriver to use and have a well lit area to work at, I highly urge you to try this at-home repair. After I got the screen in the mail, I went to the video and followed it step by step. The whole fix took less than 15 minutes with only a screwdriver and a razor blade(you can also use a thin strip of metal, but a razor works best). It saved me enough money that I was able to purchase a hard case for the PSP. Now the screen won't get broken when I step on the thing waking him up in the morning.
I WAS SO ANGRY WHEN MY SONS LITTLE COUSIN BROKE THE SCREEN ON MY SONS PSP BY ACCIDENTALY DROPING IT TO THE FLOOR,BUT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT SO I COULD DO NOTHING BUT CALM DOWN,THEN I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE BY BUYING THE SCREEN FROM AMAZON AND WATCHING A STEP BY STEP VIDEO ON HOW TO INSTALL IT I COULD RECOVER DE PSP,IT WORKED OUT PERFECT,THANK YOU AMAZON.
As long as you are very careful this isnt a hard fix. Just make sure u watch a video or two and take your time.
